The Doge (in venetian “Doze” or “Dose”) was Duke of Venice, head of state in the government of the Venetian Republic. The historical figure lends its name to this unisex, citrusy and spicy fragrance, inspired by an ancient recipe called “Acqua Damaschina”, created in the 15th century in Venice, based on Cedar and Jasmine flowers, Saffron, Amber and Musk.
